Nov. 5, 1988: With my teammates, I was one of the first women included into the National Baseball Hall of Fame at Cooperstown, NY, as a former player in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League.

Feb. 2,1990: I was presented an award "For Outstanding Services in Women's Sports" by the Women's Sports Foundation at the State House Governor's Annual Massachusetts Women in Sports Day.

Sept. 10,1990: I was honored by the Red Sox organization as an All-American Girls Professional Baseball League Hall of Famer with a ceremony and throwing out the first ball at the Fenway Park game.

Feb 12, 1990: In recognition of having started the first women's basketball team and women's physical education program at Suffolk University, I was honored at the dedication of Suffolk University womens basketball team's first game in the new school gym.

Aug., 1992: With my former teammates in the Boston area, I was invited to attend a special premiere of the movie A LEAGUE OF THEIR OWN. Red Sox personnel, reporters, family and friends attended this premiere.

Feb., 1993: All-American Girls Professional Baseball League players were inducted into the National Girls and Women in Sports Symposium's Hall of Fame in Pennsylvania.

1993: I spent a year working with former New England AAGPBL baseball players and with the Sports Museum of New England officials, gathering pictures,(including one of me and my team, the Chicago Colleens), spikes, baseball gloves, a uniform, an orginal contract and other memorabilia to be placed in a special All-American Girls Professional Baseball League display at the Museum. The Museum is located at the Fleet Center in Boston. The display was completed and officially opened in 1993.

Dec. 15 & 16, 1994: I was especially honored to be invited to make a field trip with the teachers and 7th graders from the Winthrop Middle School to the Sports Museum of New England. I stood in front of the AAGPBL display and answered many, many questions about the women's baseball league, and signed my baseball card for students and adults alike. The students were also participating in an educational progrom sponsored by the Sports Museum. We all had a great time.

March, 1997: I was inducted into the First Annual Winthrop High School Hall of Fame in my hometown of Winthrop, Massachusetts.

June, 2003: My book, A League of My Own: Memoir of a Pitcher for the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League, was published by McFarland & Company, Inc., Publishers, Jefferson, North Carolina.

September 12, 2003: Had a book signing at the Baseball Hall of Fame. An AAGPBL reunion was being held there for the celebration of the 60th Anniversary of the founding of the AAGPBL and the 15th Anniversary of the recognition of the League and the former players with the opening of the "Women in Baseball" display.
